Ah it's been alright. The only things I have to complain about is a sometimes-flickery screen and connectivity issues (wifi is slow, sometimes unresponsive).
Overall it's been a good experience. I'm starting to get screen lift now about 6-8 months after I bought it but it's only very slight. I still get the occasion battery problem as well.
Teething problems though; the benefits and sheer brilliance of the tablet far overlooks the minor problems and I'm willing to put up with them.

Hi People,
I'm not an expert on charging devices, but I have noticed with other devices that if I plugged in the wall charger BEFORE the device it sometimes gave me problems. I always plug the cord into my Nexus 7 before plugging in the wall charger but after reading about other users problems I experimented by plugging in the wall charger first and lo and behold my 7 wouldn't charge or start. I got it going again so no problem. You may not have the same experience but I thought it was worth mentioning. Maybe something like static?

I have had zero charging problems with my Nexus 7. I've used USB ports from lots of different computers, the Nexus 7 brick, my daughter's Google Galaxy Nexus brick and these days I use a Wireless Headset charger connected to my Nexus 7 dock for charging. I just drop the Nexus 7 into the dock and it charges.

I have a Nexus 7, and also an Asus TF700. I have never had a single problem with the Nexus. I would highly recommend it.
The fact that it is pure Android makes it such a beautiful little machine.
My sister has one, and two of my coworkers have one. All three of them all say the same thing that I do. I LOVE MY NEXUS.

I recommended the Nexus 7 to one of my sisters and she carries it with her everywhere. She had a problem with Google Calendar that I fixed for her (some obscure setting) and my daughter provides her with tech support from time to time (she has an Android phone). She's been amazed at how much it has improved her life - she used to carry around a lot of legal briefs and case histories on paper and now they're all on her tablet and she doesn't have to carry around a lot of heavy paper files.

I can see this being a fairly old thread now, but I thought I'd add to it in any case....
I've had my Nexus 7 for about 3 or 4 weeks now, and apart from the display seemingly flickering occasionally, I've had no issues whatsoever. In fact I'm not 100% convinced the flickering is the device itself, but I don't know.
The only reason I'm kicking myself is that the new N7 is seemingly going to be out soon, for the same price as what I paid for my 32Gb version.
I guess I shouldn't be so impatient, but I've wanted one of these for so let ng I just couldn't wait a moment longer, lol.....that'll teach me eh lol
Now my phone is due for an upgrade I'm in the which one dilemma, lol.....

I know how you feel!
What I payed for an 8gb on release is now enough to buy a 32gb and still have room to spare! I really shouldn't of jumped on this as soon as possible but I am still happy with what I got. Can't really complain as it was a really good price back then and I've got my moneys worth.

I have never had any serious problems with my Nexus 7 where I needed to take it in or anything like that. Some performance issues and rebooting here and there, but other than that it's a good device, especially for the money.
