How many blank home screens do you have?

None at the moment, but I keep finding different ways to arrange my stuff which sometimes clears up a screen or two, but then I fill them back up again. :p

I had several early on. Once you get onto the widgets, they fill up quick. GOTTA customize those, one of the many beauties of it all. Go to a blank page, click the + and starting adding some widgets till you find the ones you'd use the most.

3 here

In the center are my main key apps and weatherbug. 1 slot to the left is my outlook calendar. 1 slot to the right is my "favorite" apps. And 2 slots to the right is Google and YouTube search widgets.

Currently sporting Youtube, Google Search, Music Player, Calendar, toggles for mobile, gps, wi-fi, bluetooth, tip calculator, photos and notes. Some of them take up a full page so they go quick.

Just one. I don't use any full-screen widgets. I have the default clock/weather widget, the 3banana widget, the power control widget and then all my other widgets are only 1x1s like the handcent widget. I'm not fond of the full-screen widgets, but I can see why they'd be useful for some.

The following widgets take up a whole screen:

Photo album (htc)
Calendar (htc)
Bookmarks (htc)

I dedicate one screen to music:
Small Pandora widget
Small Music widget (htc)
And then the Shazam, FM radio, and Pandora My Stations folder (this is awesome, opens pandora directly to your list of stations and you can select from there).

Another screen is dedicated to power management like the gps and wifi toggle widgets.

Zero.

1 = Power Widget, AudioManager Widget, Latitudes Widget
2 = HTC Search Widget, Astrid Widget, Footprints Widget, 3Banana Widget
3 = FriendStream Widget
4 = Clock Widget and my most-used apps
5 = Calendar Widget
6 = Mail Widget
7 = The rest of my favorite apps

Not that you really cared ;)

6, I know I know, weird. I prefer a neat and clean phone. I am rocking a true "home" screen with the small beautiful widget weather widget. I love the fact that is stores all your apps alphabetically.

ok dumb question...how do you put the toggle widget on one of the pages? I am assuming this allows to turn gps etc on and off quickly?

go to an empty spot on your screen and hold down until you get the widget option then select power control.

I just have one. It'll fill up soon enough but I really like my setup right now. The homescreen is filled with all of my essential apps, ie internet, appbrain, etc. All of my screens to the left of the homescreen are "play" screens, ie HTC music player, pandora/slacker widgets, DailyStrip, other fun apps. Everything on the right of the homescreen is productivity stuff. For example I use the full screen HTC calendar, and then AppAlarm is here, email, etc. I've grown really fond of moving and swapping stuff though so we'll see how it looks in a week or two.
