2 Launch Day HW Version 003 EVO's - Wife and Mine fully functional and rocking it out! never even once doubted or looked back. HTC FTW

Still got my launch day Evo, but I need to replace it as soon as 4G is "officially" announced in Denver. Somewhere along the way I flashed a bad wimax radio & lost my 4G.

I'm on my second. Replaced the first for screen separation and light leakage.

The build quality on the second one is so superior to the first one it's like a completely different phone.

I have had my Evo since the end of August. Its the best phone I ever have. I find new ways to love this phone every month. I am now recently using it as a Comic viewer. Im reading Beserker and The walking dead, this phone has so many ways for it to be used.

I don't know if this counts, but I'm still on my original White Evo. I did have to exchange my original 3 EVOs, prior to finally just switching out to the white one.

So I am on my second Evo...but at no fault of the phone's. I had a night in July that was full of vodka and 151...yeah wasn't so good for the phone. I got back to my hotel room and had plugged it in to charge. All I remember after that is tripping over something. Next morning I woke up to my phone across the room. Nothing was broken other than the charger port on the bottom. Sprint replaced it for me.

well i had to get a new screen. i had the b spot. does that count as original? i count it as original... i mean it was free to have fixed :)

I'm kinda on the original one sorta, I had to get my launch day one traded out cause of the micro usb port stop working. But I got a replacement on monday and looking at the original activation date on the phone it shows 6/7/2010. So it's a kinda sorta thing.

We have 4 in our office I ordered later on because of the backlog which we got on Aug 2nd. Another person has a pre-release google demo phone which sold me on the phone originally. Another person in our office bought one on their own, we all have the original phones. I bought seido cases for 4 of them, and they are all going strong. I'm sure there are some legit issues some people have, its a matter of statistics, but I'm sure there are many complaints from people who just don't take care of their equipment in general. I doubt you are going to find people who will admit to jamming the power plug in/out routinely, or keys or other crap in their pocket jamming up against the screen, or dropping their phone on the ground. If this phone had a serious flaw I think I would have seen it with the many versions we have here on-site. I also found that if you train your battery and diligent about keeping radios off when not using them, the life improves significantly even if you don't do all the other battery saving changes. If you can't figure that stuff out, you should go back to a flip phone, honestly.

I am amazed at all the original EVO owners here. I bought two on launch day and EVO A has been replaced 3 times with refurbs that don't last, and EVO B has been on the first refurb that I will be exchanging for a new refurb shortly. Of the two launch day EVO's, one went bad 35 days afterwards, and the other went bad 92 days afterwards. I don't root, don't download apps from anywhere but the market, and basically use typical features.

Still, if I had it to do all over again, I would go back to June 4 and buy them both all over again.

I have 2 pre-ordered HDW 003 Evos.. but mine is gettign swapped out Monday. It's having re-boot fits.

Someone posted that they have replaced their EVO 3 times for dust under the screen. Excuse me, but my EVO is in Afghanistan and has been here for 2 months. There is DUST everywhere. But, I don't have a spec of dust under the screen of my EVO. Maybe you should buy a case and screen protector buddy.

still on my very first EVO since June! This thing has been put together really well and i don't have any of the light leakage or problems some others have reported. This thing is awesome and i'm still wowing people even iphone 4 owners/users!
