Got my launch day replaced twice.

#1. faulty LCD screen after a while.
#2. charging port issues.
 
*peeks head in* I just got mine Nov. 2nd.. but I REALLY want a white battery cover and have no idea how to get one. :o:( I'm contemplating taking it back just to get a white one. LOL
 
still have my launch day version 002. but i just picked it back up from a bestbuy repair tonight.

in august my screen developed a spot in the middle when displaying white backgrounds, hardly noticeable. but no light leakage or separation. decided to wait on trading it in or getting a repair. phones and parts still hard to find back then.

in october the rear speaker blew. so i took it in and had geek squad repair it. took a LONG 3 weeks, but i have a new lcd and touch screen and rear speaker on my phone. got it back and loaded up my nandroid :-)

question is would i do that again... hmm that loaner phone really did suck. probably tho, i did get them to install a brand new screen protector on it. looks like day 1 all over again.
 
I have had mine for over 5 months, and went to sprint 2 times now cuz the phone kept rebooting, they did a hard reset, replaced the battery, still reboots, I did another hard reset, still reboots, I thought maybe it was an app or game, but it has rebooted while playing mini golf, and homerun battle 3d, now when loading homerun battle, it froze completely, had to pull the battery, and it was very warm, They can send me a replacement, but I am afraid I may have more problems, what has been your experience with your evos?

Mine was doing that. They replaced it free and it is now good to go.
 
I wound up with the white, and have never had any issues with it. I got it 7/21/10. It has always run fantastically, and I am very happy with it. Fantastic phone, so glad I got it!

My brother was over there, he and his wife switched to Verizon before he went, I think he should have stuck with Sprint and gotten the EVO. Hope you and your awesome phone are still doing well!
 
As of tomorrow I will no longer have my original Evo. My power button took a crap on me. Got my Evo a week or two after launch.
 
I'm still using my first one and my wife is also.

My cousin got one and had to get another in like two weeks because of the connector.
 
Got my son one on release day. Kept rebooting & took 2 months to get it replaced. Got mine at the beginning of July, works flawlessly (as does my son's replacement). My wife's will be here today (shhhh) keeping my fingers crossed!
 
Got mine replaced with a brand new white one, and I will say I love the white back better then the black, it just feels better in the hand, and it looks unique, plus the fact it has not rebooted, nor does it get hot like my old one, and battery life seems better, normally get 18-30 hours with moderate use, and it is the same HW version 0002
 
Yep got my Evo on launch day from radio shack in Johnstown Pa. Yeah im one of the idiots paying for 4g and its nowhere to be found... although when I took my son to a hockey tourney in VA i had it off and on....:D

How did you get the 3.2.0.0 or whatever it Is? I just got mine Nov. 27th what does mine have? and has anyone had any issues with playing videos from fb app or YouTube? mine most of the time says cannot play video or it freezes n plays for a few seconds n freezes n plays etc. n sometimes it will stop after it freezes a few times n say cannot play very rarely dies it play a video without a problem.
