How many people have a Telus DHD

Well, A day after the reset I don't think the battery life is any better. Even after the gingerbread update I really don't think it is any better.

im pretty sure if your on it alot then the gingerbread update wont help your battery life any, since the display takes up so much power. i do notice that my battery life is better while im not on it, 1% an hour compared to like 2-3%

+1 owning a Telus DHD. I unfortunately had to have mine replaced three times to get a non-defective handset. Powering off by itself, vibrating constantly with power turned off. That was a fun one, take the batt out it stopped, put it in and immediately it would vibe. This last handset has been excellent and I just finished my GB update.

With the rollout of additional GB updates to fix the wifi problems I have been toying with the idea of finally going ahead and doing it. Would you keep us posted on your GB experience.

Let us know about any changes for good or bad with the phone. Thanks.

Gingerbread still working great on my phone. Never did have any wifi issues. The only thing that changed was the loss of some skins from htc. I have absolutely not bugs or issues since the update a month ago.

Thanks for the update. I starting to lean towards getting gingerbread. I am also reading HTC is begging to roll out updates to the GB software for some of the glitches out there which is a relief.

Like Rachel posted, near the end of July is their time. I've been back and forth with people at TELUS and that is when they're expecting it. And if other companies are expected at around July 9th, we're usually 2-3 weeks after.

I got this in my inbox this moring:

HTC Desire HD owners who are hoping to get an official update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Looks like we won't be getting an official ICS update.
