How Many Problems Discussed Here can be Fixed With a Software Update?

I've read a lot of ppl complain about bugs or an anomaly they have found with their Thunderbolt.

Do you feel that most of the problems here can/will be fixed with a software update?

I'm no genius, but it seems that a lot of issues come down to user error or misunderstanding with some problems coming from real hardware/software issues.

I personally do not see anything that would be a 'Real Deal' breaker, do you?

What do you think? Will a software update fix 'Most' of the issues we see with the TB?

Would be nice if a software update fixed all these problems such as battery, SMS errors, etc. I'm not sure, but if it did that would make me consider keeping the phone a lot more. It has to have some sort of improvement with the update - I'm curious as well to know!

Lady don't be so easily led....you know VZW takes years to release updates, they're the worst! However an update can fix a lot of the bugs that hurt the TB, like improving the battery, and the sms issues, and the laggy keyboard, and some issues with 4G reception. I'm only seeing the battery issues and laggy keyboard people...so if those 2 get fixed, I'll be happy....until the Bionic drops..lol

that is actually the issue with every carrier. It is a different case with a flagship device. This is their first 4g lte phone so this will be taken care off.
Verizon is rumored to already have HTC sign off on a few updates, who knows what they are. I think verizon is serious about this phone.

What about All their motorola droid based phones they have been the most updated phones that I know of.

If its not fixed with a software release it will be with a rom release.. Problem solved (I have had no problems with my rom btw)

I'll help vzw... remove rockband/ blockbuster/ lets golf/ tunewiki/ city id and the other junk apps that just take up space... once I removed that garbage from my stock root I increased my battery and sped up the phone ... not asking for much here... the phone was horrible before root now i'm just happy with stock sense with no garbage and the phone is great

very true. I just hope to have a root option soon that doesn't require thirty steps. I hope more developers jump on board.

What about the Fascinate?

What about the Fascinate?

thats why I didn't mention it. Fascinate is not verizon issue, samsung just epically sucks on updates. They will always suck as well. They are the last at everything on updating their phones.

I was talking about droid series, stop talking about fascinate lol. I am talking about their flagship phone, fascinate was not flagship in any way. It was junk full of touchwiz.
