How many Samsung Galaxy Indulge sold?

Anyone know how many Indulge has been sold since March? Since it the only 4G phone available on metro, I would think it will sell more then other phones on ATT/Verizon. If I were on ATT/Verizon/Sprint, I would be lost as to which android phone to pick (seems like a new model coming out everyday).

I am also thinking what exactly did metro gained by locking this phone? It was slow, battery drain, horrible restriction (remember the startup audio). The phone got a mediocre review due to bloatware, etc.

After rooting and adding new Rom how would you review this phone now? Was it worth $400?

Hey gamekid

i agree with no fanfare reporting on the indulge from Metro? Also the big 3 always get new phones asap. Metro just take forever, some sources said we are getting an Optimus Black soon but no date. Also is 300 now but I agree it should been 300 from the start.

Custom rom and rooted is the only way to make the phone 'worth' it. Good thing I bought mine used off craigslist for 210$ :D

Its at a good price now 300$

The Craft is horrible, don't get it.

I wouldn't pay more than $200 for the Indulge considering its specs, 480x320 res is way outdated, useless keyboard and less ram than the $100 Optimus. However, its worth it with Metro lowest cost unlimited 4G plan. Indulge come prepackaged with Adobe Flash which allow in-browser Flash support for Opera Mobile. Remember to back up its apk before applying the custom rom though. It emulates some of my favorite classic game consoles perfectly. So its an all in one phone, media and gaming device, which save me from wasting cash on a tablet.

Hope they'll be a way to unlock its sim one day.

Metro and Cricket are CDMA, they don't use SIM cards.

Not entirely right. While metro's 1x network is cdma, the lte radio technology requires a sim card, although they try very hard to hide the fact that it's actually a sim card by calling it something else! Lol :D Talk about being in denial! :D
