About $3 is the max I'd pay. I didn't want Tetris for $5, but got it when it dropped to $3.

Still havent bought Raging Thunder 2 either, since it is $5.

am willing to pay 9.99 for a really good game, something with the quality of Chaos Rings for the iOS. but more than that is overkill

Why should they be so cheap?

because its a phone game.. I only spend a couple weeks playing phone games before I move on and those couple weeks add up to about 2-3 hours.

Until the games get better quality and longer play time. (yes I know they have games with 100s of levels.. but its the same thing over and over)

The games I have seen so far on android I wouldn't pay more than 3 bucks for.

Psx4droid on the other hand I bought and probably would have payed 15-20 bucks for it. Because I know it is one thing I will have for a long time.

I think most of us prefer the legal way of getting games.

And $40 is equal to 31 Euro, Mayar. Their money is more than ours.

Im sorry I can't contribute more to the topic, I havent bought enough games to truly judge a value :c

Of course, this is also a cycle that feeds upon itself. When many gamers only want to pay $1 because the games are "not worth it", then developers look at the market and see that gamers are only willing to pay $1 for a game and develop games that are worth $1.

Depends on the game. Some aren't even worth the cheapest option in the poll. It's like anything else, why would expect one-size-fits-all pricing?

It really depends on the game. The most I've paid is $4. If a game I like were to come out and I thought it was worth it I'd pay for it.

i'd pay $10 for really good games but i'm very selective with my purchases

nobody said anything about illegal games.

Yes I know what you mean.
And so far the people that have made the dive to make a good quality game have failed one way or another

Funny you mentioned $3.99 then didn't put it in the poll ;)

But really for me $3.99 is about as much as I want to pay. Anything more and i'd have to think very hard about it. Any less and i'm far more willing to take a chance.

I think 5 is right for a good game, and 7 for a great 3D game. But coming from Windows Mobile where apps and games were all in the 20 dollar range, no I am not kidding at all!!, I think 10 and less is a great deal for any game, and am loving having the galaxy with 2gig's of app space, and even more when it get Froyo :-) I have spent about 70 bucks on games to date and have no issue with that.

So 5 bucks is about the mean that I feel is the comfortable zone, but love the .99 and 1.99 games!!!
