Never, I'm not religious. I'll only do so by adopting the position when the situation calls for it, i.e. a funeral, where it'd be inappropriate not to. I'm just following protocol there, I don't actually pray.

Prey, on the other hand, I do regularly. :D

Never. It's my belief that if there is a God/s, that it most certainly has no need or want for a mortal such as myself worshiping it. And, if it did, well, that's probably a God I have no use for.
 
I was a Catholic Alter Boy when I was young, so it is sort of ingrained into me. I am not the slightest bit practicing, so it is more of a comfort thing in difficult times.
 
Seldom.. but currently I believe there is a God but don't really know which religion best suits me, but here lately it seems I pray more and more..

If you can't convince them, confuse them.

I grew up going to church on holidays.. never really prayed tho.. I never really knew what to do... Now that I can formulate my own opinion about religion, I don't ever pray.
 
Judging by the early results, at least it looks like I'll have plenty of people to discuss the finer points of cell phones with in the afterlife! See you in Hell boys & girls! :D
 
I am not religious (though was brought up as such). I consider myself agnostic, and as such, I believe that there certainly may be a higher power, but I have no idea which one (if any, that has been written about) it is. Thus, it would be difficult to pray to a deity that I know nothing about.
 
I pray not for it gives me false hope.

BUT I guess... it's good for certain dire situations because the hope can help carry you along.

Nope. It's just giving me some hope that things will turn out fine. It's kind of like a general giving his troops a boost in moral even though he knows the situation is looking very bad. It'll help his troops get through the misery.
 
So basically its a pep talk to boost your morale? But still, if u pray at times like that, and it gives u hope, why not pray all the time? I mean if u do it in bad situations, that must mean that somewhere in your mind and heart that u kinda believe something is gonna help u through it.

I don't pray all the time because I'm rarely in misery. lol I've only felt the need to pray like twice in my life. As an agnostic, I don't believe in a god and I simply don't know if a god exists or not. That part where not knowing if one exists or not is where my prayers go to. For me, prayer is an illusion that makes people happier.. like magic! :)
