How old is the Average Galaxy Note 2 User?

I'm 55. I fell in love with technology in 2000 when I stumbled on a guide to write a web page using html. The first thing I learned was "Hi". When I saw my own words on my computer monitor, I was amazed. I went on from there to make a web site for my mobile notary business using only html, complete with "Contact Me" and "Order Service" forms. I didn't know there were programs that you could use for building web sites until I had mine done and someone asked me what program I used. 
I was hooked.
My passion has grown right along with technology. My husband calls me a "geek" and it's a badge I proudly wear. Everyone in my family calls me when they have a computer/cell phone problem. My husband is into street rods. At first he couldn't understand how I could spend so much time "messing" with my phone, flashing, rooting and romming. Then one day he said "I get it now, you're just trickin' out your Droid like I trick out my rod, there's nothing wrong with that!". Since then he has been very supportive and understands why I switch phones so often when he just graduated to a clamshell with bluetooth.
Why the Note 2? It's true that my eyes are not as good as they once were, but that has little to do with it. I'm a mobile notary. I travel to people's homes with loan document for them to sign. The documents are emailed to me, often just minutes before the closing appointment. On busy days, I need to be able to able review the documents on my phone and them print them using Google Cloud so I can swing by my home office, grab them and go. Sometimes I am required to print in the field. I have a battery operated bt printer for those occasions.
Having a huge screen on which I can view a set of loan documents has eliminated me having to haul around a laptop. It eliminated me having to turn down jobs because I didn't have time to go home, review and print docs.
Oh, and having a huge screen and a cool stylus is also great for playing Draw Something. That's a plus for the inner kid in me who I hope sticks with me to the end.

I showed my gn2 to my step father who is 82. Now he wants one! It would be his first smart phone.
My 92 year old mother-in-law is not into smartphones, but she does email and browse the net on her PC. She's hilarious, talking about her "icon screen" and such.

I'm 62 also and started on Pocket PCs when BitPim couldn't keep up with synching my contacts and appointments.
We may not be over the hill, but we have one heck of a view from up here!

I got my Note 2 in time for the holidays.
I'm 37 and have been using PDAs for a while before the convergence started. Didn't like it at first and held on to my Dell Axim x51v for the longest while until I was comfortable to make the jump. The Note was my first real 'super' Smartphone (always carried dumbphone+PDA). Liked it so much because of the pen and eventually got the Note 10.1. Now I've moved to the Note 2.
Wasn't really happy with Android at first because my perception was I could do more with Windows Mobile (via registry hacks) and their apps. Android was feeling more like PalmOS. But after adjusting my way of thinking and adapting, I like it. Though I still find it rough around the edges. Give it another year and I'll start to explore 'rooting'. I don't like to go there yet as I am wary of warranty, etc. That's just me.
My Note 2 is more for productivy and some multimedia/gaming on the side while I'm out and about. The Note is currently used as a backup (or intial experiment with rooting and ROMs; haven't decided yet). The Note 10.1 mainly used at home when my system is tied up with other members of the family. Or stress testing my desktop computer's OC or replacement parts. My motherboard recently got fried and had to RMA it (still under warranty). Also happy that I got the replacement back before the holidays.

to connect it to your PC... you might want to load the drivers from Samsung. go the the website..and look under support and drivers.
HTC did not require drivers.. but sammy phones do.

I'm 42. Was never into mobile devices till I got a Palm Treo 600, moved on to a 650 after. I got stuck with the 650 for 6 years. Then finally decided to upgrade to an HTC Evo 4G and was blown away with what you can do with a modern smartphone. From there I upgraded to the note 2.
I was never into mobile tech until I got the HTC Evo 4G. Before that I was more into SCUBA Diving and cars. Have been competing on Slalom events in the early 90's, and I was 1991 group 2B (2 liter modified) Champion. After that went to a less active lifestyle and dove into the world of Cyber space. Became an active online gamer in the late 90's to 2006. Playing a not so well known game series (NovaWorld's Delta Force Series) met a lot of friends there. From there I had a growing fascination with technology. Many years later here I am.

On a contrary for me, time flies because I have two little ones (4 and 7) at home. When I get to my Note 2 in the evening after they go to sleep, time slows down while I'm enjoying my new toy
Here, pushing my late 30s. Of course, I love technology but usually refresh it every 2+ years (laptop, phone, etc.). Once I go through my refresh at this interval, it makes you appreciate new gadget-toy even more in comparison to what I had before.

but i decided to go with the S3.. sprint had it for only $49.

I started programming on an Apple IIe, but after a contract was awarded we switched to the CPM operating system. Later the IBM PC came out.
As to phones Apple has never tempted me. I believe my first 'smart' phone was the Ericsson with the snap on qwerty key board, the last one was a HTC EVO 4G (the original). - About smart phones, even the simplest cell phone is pretty darn smart, after all there is a radio and a phone and a whole bunch of programming went on to get it all to work together.
I am 64, retired, live in a motor home, in a state park in exchange for campground hosting. My only internet is through my Sprint data plan. With the HTC I was tethering to my laptop. Now I only turn on the laptop to do some fancy photo editing, maybe 1 or 2 times a month.
It is not my eyesight, but the capability of having extreme computing abilities in my pocket. I appreciate the capacity to do virtually any computing task almost anywhere. Drives my wife nuts, thinks I love the phone more than her. But I have been infatuated with computers since 1979 when I taught myself to program, through 2006 when I retired as a computer systems analyst, and still today playing on the Note II.

As soon as the original note was announced for AT&T I became obsessed.
Playing with one only made matters worse- hoping other carriers (Sprint) would get it.
THAT phone was awesome which only naturally meant (to me) Samsung would have to raise the bar for the Note 2.
Just because a phone has a big screen doesn't mean I want it if it's internals aren't all that.

------THANKS, DAN330... I downloaded the SamSung KIES... that program is good for transferring music, photos and contacts. I only wanted to drag-drop a bunch of text files to my device. (Lots of sci-fi reading while riding the metro). SUCCESS!!! THANKS again
