How row editing

is there a way to edit the home row of icons. like switch the email one with the gmail app.

Open app tray. Make sure you have it set to customizable grid.
Menu>Edit then you can drag and drop items to the home dock.

How do you change to customizable grid?

When you are in the App menu, press the Menu button -> View Type -> Customizable Grid. Then Push Menu again and select Edit. Then you can move items on and off of the Dock at the bottom. After that I put mine back in alphabetical mode.

Ok thanks. I'm an idiot. I didn't realize what you meant by app menu. Got it now. That was my only problem with TouchWiz. I wanted messages were email was.
