How serious is the rebooting problem

This happened me about a month ago now, it goes into a reboot loop and wouldn't get past the startup screen.

Pulled the battery, and went into recovery mode... cleared data and it booted just fine...

I was in work with the 3g network and livescores running, in my pocket... and the room was like a sauna (massive shrinkwrapper) so it's my own fault to be honest... but a month later i've had no problems since

I wonder, a year later, how many of you are still able to state that they never heard of the reboot problem with their deisre. Everyone that i said that the desire was great and bought one, is now stuck with the reboot problem (makes 4 in total) !

I own a desire that never got fixed (they void warranty for liquid damage , HUH?) and now my desire S seems to act the same way. I'm SO done with HTC, my next one is an iPhone. permanent.

I've had mine for about a year and a half iirc, maybe more.

No reboot issues ever.

Me also, i've had mine for 18months at least...& it did just STOP DEAD (freeze) tho i was screwing it soo hard lol CPU 1113mhz & had all kinds running - even a good RAM'd windows comp. would fall over with lots running - like i have done on my laptop...lol

I got mine in May 2010, never had a reboot problem
