Root how should i apply the new update?

Is there a way to apply the new maintenance update besides ota? I'm rooted, and have nitsuj's nextang theme for di01 and geeknik's 1.23 kernel... before that I had applied the superclean rom, don't know if the theme overwrites that. Anyways, when I try to update ota, it says settings has closed unexpectedly. What should I do?

easiest way would be (if you want to keep root) flash the radio in odin from here [RELEASE] DL09 rom, kernel, radio - xda-developers a

and the kernel (voodoo or nonvodoo) in clockwork from that thread as well

and the rom in clockwork from here [RELEASE] DL09 rom, kernel, radio - xda-developers


any dj05 kernels will work for you as well

What exactly does the radio do?

I'm really happy with your nextang theme Nitsuj, love the orange accents... you mentioned dj05 kernels would work for me now... do dj05 themes as well? If so I would apply your dj05 nextang theme.

If for some reason I chose to not apply this update (a little scared as I keep seeing people talking about random glitches they're encountering), would I not be able to flash Froyo when/if it eventually comes out, or would all of this be incorporated into whatever the next big update will be?

dl09 roms can use dj05 themes if you flash the theme fix from xda:
