Okay, I know it's an expensive phone and it's a good phone. But how resilient is it? I have a young child with autism who sometimes gets a hold of a phone and chucks it. All previous phones have survived this (it's not a frequent event, but it happens). Blackberries and Palms have all survived. I have the Evo but it feels like one drop on the living room carpet and it's toast. (generally that is where it gets dropped or lightly chucked). This phone, as good as it is, may not be for me since I can't protect it completely. If it's easily broken I probably better return it (sadly)...

I would google glass separation, charging port issues, and cracks by the power button on the EVO if my phone was going to be thrown around.
