If you mean the App Drawer, apps are added when installed. If by 'dial thing' you mean something else, I can't help. Try the phone manual.

That's Google Drive. You don't add apps to it. It IS an app, for accessing your Drive storage in your Google account.

I think he means the shortcut for Google search when you long press the home button. No you can't add apps to that.

Not clearer, we're still trying to guess the question.

Maybe you want to add items from your app drawer to your launcher home screen? (Then we need to know what launcher..If no custom launcher then what device)

He means the "navigation ring". I don't knew of a way to do it on stock.
The rom on my phone let's you add 5 targets.
I'll post a pic....

The nav ring features is ROM based. It's one of those system things you can't change without swapping ROMs

It works like Pie. You slide your thumb up from bottom of screen to multitask. By default it only has search which seems like a waste. Surely theres a way to customise it on stock rom?

I've never seen Google Now launching like that. On my phone you long press the home button. My tablet runs stock Android launcher, but I don't use it for Now. There are apps that allow for similar functionality to what you're looking for. I use Swipepad. Wave Launcher has a circular launcher like the screenshot you posted. I've seen a few others.

That's custom ROM-only functionality for the stock launcher

A replacement launcher might do it as well
