Help How To Add Emulators !! etc ...

am a newbie to android phone and i recently brought a xperia play !

and i wanted to know how do i add emulators to my phone and what emulators are available ...
as i wanted to add neo geo, capcom emulators to the phone, are they available ?
if how do i download and install these .....steps please !

and does your phone need to be rooted to do this ? and what are the benefits of having ur phone rooted ?

kool ...ok now i know what is available .....

how do i install this on phone ....ok i know i need to get the emulator from android market ....

put how do i install the roms ...etc & do i need anything else like a manger ...etc

seen some videos on youtube but not 100% sure or clear ......

like what files i need, or do i just put zip roms in phone ....

and how do i set up the sd card for the roms to go in ....
