Help How to add your carrier

So I was wondering how it is possible to add my carrier on CM7.I know there is a way where after you install Metroff you search for some file (Eri.xml I believe) but I was never able to find that file.
Any help is appreciated!

/data/eri.xml type carrier name in between the quotes "" after it says eritext

The problem is that that file is nowhere to be found... :-(

download a different metroff and look inside first I noticed when I tried to do this the one I had didn't have the eri.xml.
