Help How to backup internal memory to external SD?

Hello guys,

I've been stuck on this problem for nearly a week now. Would love a fix. The problem is that I attempted to update my Cyanogenmod ROM and I'm now stuck at the boot screen. Apparently the only fix is to delete all my data and re-install. The problem, as it always is, is that I want my personal data such as pictures, settings, conversations (text, whatsapp) etc. I have Clockwork Recovery Mod. I don't think USB debugging mode is activated in the settings which I believe rules out ADB. What are possible solutions?

From what I know Clockwork doesn't backup the relevant partitions. Are there other programs I could perhaps take advantage of?

Thanks for the aid.

Do you have Clockwork Mod or TWRP? Either one will do a nandroid backup, which is all you need.

It says here:ClockWorkMod Instructions - CyanogenMod, that CWM will only backup certain partitions of the internal memory. Doesn't this mean I will lose my pictures/settings/etc?

"ClockworkMod's backup/restore feature will generally only back up the /system, /data, /cache, /sd-ext, and /dalvik-cache areas. Other partitions such as /emmc, /sdcard, and /media won't be backed up"

Edit: In case someone has the same issue as me the solution is to format your data and re-install the OS. It seems that using the format data option doesn't affect your personal pictures! I suppose formatting skips the corresponding partition on the internal memory.
