Help How to bring back Tab view in Settings?

I disabled it ages ago but now I can't see how to re-enable it.

Not sure what you're really describing/asking. Are you using Good Lock?

I've never seen a tab option on the S7.
It was on some custom ROMs I tried on my S4, but not seen it on stock S7 ROM.
I would be interested to be told differently.

I wanted to see if Tab view was possible in the Settings app...

My settings are in tab view (which I like). I cannot find any way to change to the alternative list views. I believe these changes were locked in in marshmallow sometime back and are a function of your carrier modifications. My carrier is AT&T (the king of bloat/crapware and inordinately delayed updates)

I'm sure(ish), when I bought my S7, Settings was in Tab view.

The option, now that I changed that, appears to have disappeared.

According to the manual you should have a row of Quick Setting buttons when you pull down the notification bar. I don't design these things I just read the tips and tricks and two finger pull down used to take you directly to quick settings. Lots of stuff has changed in marshmallow.
