Help How to calibrate galaxy i7500 accelerometer?

imad

Newbie
Recently, After installing speed forge i found that my accelerometer is not calibrated, spaceship keeps moving left side and also I found that in inclinometer that there is variation of about 5 degrees. Even i had done factory reset but still the problem persist.
Is there any solution for calibrating the accelerometer ?

I haven't found any method of calibrating the accelerometer other than within the actual application. HTC provide a 'simple' calibration app in their build of android, were samsung don't...
Of all the phones I've tested accelerometer calibration on, the Galaxy is by far the worst from factory.

Thanx for replying, i hope they put accelerometer calibration in android 2.0,
if not i will give it to repair or exchange , since it's in warranty.:-(

...spaceship keeps moving left...

I've seen this happen, too. My best method is to place the phone on a flat surface when launching sensor-needing apps, so that the app's first reading is 'level'. Then it works all right, mostly.
