Root how to change boot animation?

Download one of my themes....extract it and replace your bootanimation.zip with the one I put in my theme....zip it and flash.... :)
 
Using a file manager like root explorer is the way to go...simply press and hold on file to extract all...then copy and paste your animation in the data/local folder...or copy and paste your animation directly to your phones data/local folder
 
instead of a bootanimation.zip in my system/media, there are bootani.qmg and samsungani.qmg, and when i put a bootanimation.zip in the media folder, it doesnt read it...so, is there a file i have to change?

k just rename it the same way u have it in ur folder booani. mg but make sure the one ur not using move it out that folder to SD just in case u want it bck
