How to change docking station icons?

So i got this media station for droid chage with a spare battery and since like many others I downloaded some apps that are better than the default ones. I am curious if anyone know how I can change the icons on the docking station? I know how to change the icons normally where i hold on the wheel icon to turn into grid mode but the docking is a bit different...

The only real complaint i have about the dock is that i need to take off my protector when i put the phone in...

Do you mean the icons in the "Desk Cradle" app that go along the bottom of the screen? If so, I don't think you can change these. I think it's part of the app Samsung made which doesn't allow for much customization.

One issue I found with the cradle is the physical home button always brings me back to the Desk Cradle app when docked, instead of my Home screen. Does it do that for you too? To get back to the Home screen I have to keep pressing the back button till I get back there.

I have the same question about the car dock screen. Front and center is Verizon Navigator, which I never use. I'd prefer pandora and google nav.

That is the reason I returned the car dock. Too much hassle having to back into the app drawer to select Google navigation. I ordered a cup holder type mount. We'll see how that does when it arrives.

Well, there is a link to Google Maps on the main nav screen. From there I can get to Google Navigation, so it's not a huge deal, but I hat having icons front and center that I will never use.

I just got the cradle today and 1 thing I noticed already is that when its docked and you press the volume, my volume bar continues to show up on the screen and not time out. I have it charging the extra battery now, and I used my discount and the $5 bonus discount and got it for $30 so I really don't want to return it. Anyone elses doing this with the volume?

mine finally disappears when you adjust the volume, but i've noticed that if i use the volume controls it either goes from vibrate to max or max to vibrate. Is it supposed to actually go up and down a notch or go from quiet to loud and back?
