I know the title is a little confusing; so I will elaborate.
I am trying to use an app that requires it to call you when you sign up. It pulls 'my number' from the phone. As in the number from
Settings > About Phone > Status
Which is my cell number. Except. This phone is not activated.
Is there ANY way to make my phone think it has a different number (like a VOIP number). If I can do this, I can 'trick' the app into thinking my phone is activated; so, when the system calls me to confirm, it will call my VOIP and I can sign up for service?
There has to be something I can edit or change. I'm rooted, running stock ROM right now.
