Root how to change the font of a rom?

theres no way to put directly to the rom, i mean replace it with the one i want by opening the rom with 7zip

rom tool box has a tool just for fonts takes two sec just to change them and they have a excellent selection of different fonts

Edit: oh thats easy to do go to uot kitchen upload your systemui frame work file and system file select fonts and cook it then when it gives you your zip file replace the fonts with the ones you want and then stick it in your sd card and flash it end of story.

Oh you can you do that, or just make a font zip. You can just take the JB font folder that I think Fuzzy posted, delete everything out of the font folder and put your own in and flash it. But the op says without flashing so thats why I suggested the apps :D

You can do it just by copying and pasting within root explorer. Then reboot.

but im partial to android commander. :D Just because it kicks ass and its dummy proof. Plus it does everything you could want.

yes thats the one i have the jb one but i wanna make it stay in the rom just in case i flash it over another esteem lol so out of all the options wich one suits better

Just download Commander.

Save your current fonts folder.

Copy over the fonts you want.

Reboot.

Dont get any easier than that. ;)
