Help How to clear browsing history?

Settings, search, Google search, manage search history. Sign into your Google account and it takes you right to the screen. All you have to do from there is select what you want to delete, or just hit clear all. :)

I cant believe nobody has solved this yet, it is very simple. Do what others have said about clearing history, cache, form data, etc. After you have done all that, then from the home screen, drag the bar down from the top (not sure what it is called), once it is down, look at the bottom right and you will see "quick settings". Click on that then you will see all your quick settings and the last one should be "total memory", click that and then you should see "kill all" at the bottom right, Click that and problem solved. Doing this will default to original home screen when you first got your phone.

Easy way, on bottom of google page where it says says sign in there is a setting link, tap that link, it brings up your setting only for google site, can clear all out of that, can even turn it off

At the Home screen, go to MENU (next to the Home button)
Settings
Applications
Go to ALL on the very top
scroll down to the browser you used (the globe icon, for instance)
Click on that
"Clear Cache"
OK
"Clear Data"
OK

That will do it.

Sylvia1 wins a gold star. NOTHING else worked for me, but this did. Thank you!

Hi,

I was forced to same problem as you, but then I've installed Android Delete History and it saved my day ;) It's fast and most stable app to erase history ;)

Go to settings > apps > all > Internet > clear data.

bit of a nuke but works.

(btw - spamming your app via a user with only 1 or 2 posts is REALLY obvious)

android needs to fix this problem, I have 3 android tablets none of the above works for clearing history, only way to clear history is to do a factory reset. android needs to look into this and they also need to look into the weak wi-fi signal on the 4.0 upgrade.

1. Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications
2. Choose ALL (Top Screen: Downloaded : All : On SD Card : Running)
3. Browse until you found Maps
4. Choose Clear data
5. Problem Solved

The dropdown in the browser navigation bar shows every site that I've been to . How do I clear it?
I
Menu>more>History>Clear History says my history is cleared but when I go back to my browser and tap the navigation field it's all still there - every site I've visited for days! Ditto if I go to Menu>More>Settings and clear the forms, history, cache, and cookies.

So how do I clear the browser navigation history? Thanks in advance! (Droid Incredible 2.2)

get on your browser and on top right hand corner leave finger down for few secs lift up should show bookmarks/ mostvisted/history on the bottom of your phone not the screen left hand side last button press it should say erase browser history hope that helps

there are alot of software available in market as i am using PC privacy master which is very helpful in maintaining your privacy and deleting browsing history. use this.
