Root How to completely wipe and restore??

If searched and cant find what Im looking for. Ive done the factory data reset but I want my root directory back to stock as well. Ive put so much junk on this phone over the past 6 months and just want a 100% clean memory. How is this possible?

if your phone isn't stock then you're probably familiar with odin. that would be the way to go

that is what I tried first, I was able to get back to 2.1, but master clear fails. no clue why.

Now im back on serendipity7, just not with a 100% clean wipe

Master clear has proven tricky for me in the past. This is how I've made it happen - hope it works for you:

Place phone in USB debug mode.
Insert cable into phone (cable should already be connected to computer).
Turn off phone
Exit Odin
Re-start Odin
Turn on phone with cable still attached (detach cable and re-attach if master clean doesn't begin).
Click on Master Clear
Watch Odin progress bar
It will say Completed! and phone will reboot
