how to delete htc sense account on desire hd

I've created my account but can't seem to link up my phone with HTC sense I can't even get past log in part I got to bit to send email to phone but won't link up,can anyone help please?even just to delete my sense account and start again?cheers.

Go into Settings > Accounts & Sync.
Find the HTC Sense account on your phone click into it and at the bottom click "Remove Account"

then to re-start a new one,go to menu-all apps-setup and follow it through to HTC sense.....hope this helps....i tried that route and still nothing...hmmmm

I did all this and finally the dashboard @ HTCsense worked as it should.

I verified the email on my phone and everything, Didn't even touch computer until it was all setup and complete as a precaution
