Help how to disable lock pattern?

How can i disable the option of requiring a pattern to unlock phone? I am sick and tired of having to draw a pattern for people who ask for my phone. I went to menu settings security and all that but i dont see the option to turn it off. And if this is a dumb question well excuse me! I am new to this smartphone stuff. Thanks in advance for your help experts:)
 
Ok first go to settings then click where it says location and security. In here there should be an option called "require pattern" make sure it's checked off, then it will ask you to use the pattern code and there you go no more unlock pattern. I hope this helped

Okay... that was easy haha. Thank you so much it worked! I feel so ******ed :o
 
I did this but the pattern still comes up. Although, I can draw any pattern and it goes away. I want it completely gone.

I wish I could help you,I don't use that feature.
