How to display percentage in notification bar covering battery icon?

I know there are many apps can display battery percentage in notification bar, but this is different. It covers the battery icon. Please refer my attachement .

Dunno. It just came with the ROM. lol

You will need root more than likely and then you will have to edit the battery status images yourself. There are others that display the percentage out there but I don't know for certain if there are any just like you described.

I know to root and then replace the battery display images, but do you want me to replace 100 images?

Works for non-rooted phones I think. I have root so it would not matter if I had to do something. But might be worth checking out.

supposedly it does not use up too much battery. And even has an estimated time left in the notification bar.

I have been looking for this as well. a friend of mine updates his phone more frequently than i do, got this with one of the roms he put on and has since updated mine and his to the same newest cyangoen rom. so our phones are identical now but he still has this battery indicator and i cant seem to find it anywhere.

if you find out where or how to get it please update us!!

ah! i got it. dunno if it matters but im running cyanogen 5.0.7. neway in spare parts halfway down the menu there is "battery status display". just check it and reboot.

btw, nebody else running this rom having a huge problem w the launcher force closing like any time u hit home?? even sometimes wen i use back 2 get 2 the home screen it freezes up.

I know this is an old thread, but I have this them on my phone. It does exactly that, but I had to open the zip and delete all the extra apps from the file JUST leaving the battery apk on there. It's a "theme" but it's a stock theme.
