Root How to do 720p if not using sense?

Gods of Root,

I'm playing around with a number of non-sense ROMs, and I keep running into the same question: using the stock android camera app, is there a way to know I'm shooting 720p video? I don't see a settings option like with the sense camera app where I can set it. I have a similar question for normal pictures, namely, am I taking them at the 8mp that the camera is capable of doing?

Maybe I'm just missing it?

Edit - I think I found the settings section of the stock android camera app, and it says I'm shooting "WVGA" quality video...720p is not lit up.

If it helps, I'm using MIUI's latest build. I take it 720p is not an option?

It helps, and you may want to ask in the thread for that ROM. Those guys would have a better idea.
