Root How to downgrade and root 2.43.661.1 and up

Hi all,

I'm very newbie with all that and I'm having my firs HTC DHD (with Telus) that I (I think) have rooted correctly. The thing is that I would like to get back to gingerbread 2.3 (that was installed before, now I'm at 2.2) and get the original ROM back.

Also, if someone can send me some links to good explanations (maybe in french is they are available) on root and is lexical and to best apps to use for that action, it would be more than appreciated.

Dependant on what stage you're at, the Ace Hack Kit mentioned here might be an easier option: http://androidforums.com/desire-hd-...grade-1-32-405-6-easy-follow.html#post3231282
