Help How to download Apps via barcode

Hey all,

As the title suggests, I've seen various links to apps with barcodes attached. Is there some way to just scan the bar code on my phone and download it directly like that? Otherwise what is the bar code for? Thanks for any help!

Just to expand, I believe you can "click" on the barcode from your phones browser if that is where you are viewing it. Otherwise download barcode scanner from the market and use it to scan the barcode (the square ones I think you are talking about are called QR codes. I think).
