Hey guys,
I was just wondering how do i edit a CDMA kernel. I want to edit a CM7 kernel to support loop for installing ubuntu.
Since no one has the capabilites on XDA to help me find a kernel, I'll just edit one myself.
So can someone find a tutorial on how to edit a CM7 kernel, and please define to me on how to add "LOOP" to it?
Thank you so much everyone.

Erm. You need to become partly a developer. You'll need to make a Linux build machine. You will then need to choose source code for a kernel and add what you want before compilingthe code to become a new kernel.

EViolets manu kernel is based on cm code for gsm and has loop. He links to his source code on xda. Then if you can learn from someone on xda how to make the commits required to become a cdma kernel, you'd then have the best cdma kernel going
