From Samsung's spec there is no radio in I5700. But is it possible to add an app that can provide this functionality. I am not interested in Internet radio apps.
if there is no radio in the hardware then no.... unless samsung never published that it had a radio then they decide turning that feature on. highly unlikely though.
there are reports that the chip actually supports fm radio, but there is no antenna connected to the chip, so it is not possible to enable this in a working way.
any firmware launched till now has no radio support so you cannot detect anyhow. besides, spica tech specs dont mention. but that may be because the device was powered with a firmware that had no support for radio. but the good news is the doubt will get soon over! that is with the launch of new firmware from android. FROYO! which supports radio and many more features!
