Help How to enlarge font size on Gmail?

Is there a way to enlarge the Gmail font size on an Optimus V? From other threads I see there is a way to enlarge Gmail font size on some other android phones, but apparently not on Optimus V?

When you're on your Gmail click the Menu button (bottom left) and then tap > More > Settings > Message text size.
