Help how to extract contacts for another phone...

ok so im tkaing my phone back for repair... due to overheating and rebooting..

how do i take my contacts off of the phone so i can view them at least on my computer so i have them to put into the temp replacment i will be having.

i have hit menu extract to sd.. so i have a contact card with them all on but how do i open this...

or how can i save the contacts to my sim card for easily transfer..

You could sync to gmail then export from gmail web to excel csv
