How to Flash Your Transform to Stock

Wouldn't I need admin rights to install it? I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have those at a public place.

I don't exactly um... Abide by those rules. For every will there is a way. Internet cafes usually let you download whatever you need to as long as you don't clutter up their computers too much. Best thing to do would be to do that or use a PC from someone you know.

vampirefo told me that if you're using anything other than the RFS filesystem (like ext) then you type rfs, otherwise, you don't need to.

I didn't install ext on my transform so I just went ahead and applied the zip. I now have a stock phone and none of my apps were actually deleted (but Superuser is still on there and without root I can't get it off).

I have Vampirefo's 2.7 kernel and FroyoRC2. I want to go back to stock to get the 2.2 update and then reroot my phone. Should I do it with the zip file or is Swupdater and flash the tar file?

Awesome. Ok, I'm in recovery, and stupid question, how do I open the console? Sorry if I seem to need to be walked through it. I only see the 4 options. I don't know where to type in the rfs.

Ok, I'm in stock. My problem is that I deleted the Email app a month ago. The phone won't update to froyo without it. That's why I want to reflash to stock. How can I do that? Is there any way to just get the email app back?

do i need to reformat to rfs before i put full_restore_stock.zip on? Im currently ext4

Update: figureed it out. but have another question, can I flash vampirefos 2.7 kernel back on? or does he have another one available for the official 2.2?

If you guys want to go to Froyo without flashing stock, make sure you apply Vampirefo's kernel and recovery with the update. Check SDX for info on how to do this.

You must not be doing something right, it shouldn't be accessing sdcard/update.zip
However, you can download the update.zip from sdx and try placing that on your sdcard
