How to Get back to stock 2.1

So I rooted a little while back & have only been having problems. For whatever reason, the only rom I can get to work is Fresh 2.3. I've tried installing CM1, the nightlies, both the blue & vanilla themed version, and darchroid 2.8. I couldn't even get CM1 and darchroid 2.8 to get past the white htc screen. Is there any way I can get back to stock 2.1 and unroot? I'm hoping if I do that and try rooting again then maybe things will work.

Also, is there any way to delete all the bloatware on fresh 2.3? I love the performance of the rom but I can't deal with how little memory it leaves me.

I'm pretty sure. It's going to wipe everything on there. Then it's going to close the exploit for Root (not an issue)

I've never had to to do it myself, but I may be RUU'ing back to 1.5 myself this evening so I'll know for sure.

Yes, running RUU, what 00h2itr linked, will take you back 100% to stock. It'll be like a brand new phone right out of the box (minus scratches, dings, etc).

Seems pretty simple. I'm doing it now.

If you have concerns, there is a read me document included.

To answer your question of running another ROM, it picked up that I was on ZenEXP. It then states it's going to erase that and go to Stock 1.5.

LOL, awesome.

I'm doing it now trying to fix my Nandroid issue in the forum. We'll see how this goes.
