Root How to get back to stock 2.2 from rooted?

my phone is stuck on a bootloop and nothing will get it to start. Ive tried loading a different rom and nothing. So my only option is to send it back to bestbuy for a replacement under warranty. Only problem is if they turn it on they will see a non stock rom and void my warranty. I could break the screen cause that is still covered by warranty but im afraid they could still hook it through the usb connector and see theres an unofficial rom on it. What can i do?

I did this process but I keep getting the file error where it stays stuck on HTC screen with the error symbols and also fails to update the radio! Please help!!!!

What errors? Which screen? Need more details so we know how to help you.
