Help How to get birthdays off my Calendar ?

so after my update to 4.1.2 Jelly bean my new Calendar has all my facebook contacts birthdays on it. I cant for the life of me figure out how to get rid of it. I cant seem to even get rid of facebook out of my contacts. Can some one help ?

Hello atmasters. There is more than one way to remove unwanted contacts etc from JB's calendar. I like to just go in and use the "delete" selection in the main calendar menu, but you can also use the "sync settings" to remove whole sets of dates, data etc.

If you are having trouble with them remaining persistent after making changes, then it might be a good idea for you to just go ahead and take the trouble to go into the Application Manager in the main Settings menu on your device and clear the calendar and Facebook caches, then reboot.

Also, you may have the Facebook stuff backed up in one of the backup utilities in the app drawer, such as the stock backup widget or Google/Gmail. If so, the Facebook stuff may be being imported in the background. You'll have to configure the backup app/widget to not include Facebook.

Google/Gmail and Facebook sync settings in their calendar menu can be changes as well. I'd do that online via PC.
