How to get firmware 1.19.161.5 manually?

I'm using the generic Desire ROM after getting rid of the horrible Orange ROM.

However I have a problem with reconnecting to APN sometimes which is very annoying and requires a reset to fix.

What firmware are people on? I'm on 1.15.405.4 and have this problem. I have read 1.19.161.5 fixes it.

No sign of it OTA for me yet though. I've checked Settings - About phone - System software updates, but nothing yet.

Is there a way to manually do it?

that is a vodafone update, and will only be available OTA to vodafone handsets. you may find xda or modaco bring a custom rom of it to do it manually

Ah right, it didn't detail that it was Vodafone only in the source I linked to.

Don't think I fancy trying this Vodafone firmware update on the Orange network on the generic ROM.

How To Detect Which ROM currently used?

I was tried to update ROM but everytime I tried I got this message

The ROM update utility can not update your android Phone
Please get the correct ROM Update and tried again
