Getting the best help for your device will require you giving us the best information that you can. Be very specific and avoid terms like thingamajig. Stay Calm and post your question and be as specific as you can be. Panic creates chaos and that rarely results in a solution.
Here is some basic information that will be needed:
1. Manufacturer - (HTC)
2. Model - (EVO)
3. Software version - (4.0)
4. Specifics of the problem - (Card can read fine for music just cant get any more music on card?)
5. Specify if the phone is rooted. If you don't know then it probably isn't
Always try to post in the area that supports your device if there is no area then simply find someone in green or red and PM them your issue and where it should be posted. Keep in mind that we want to help you fix your issue but may not always be able to. In those case's MODS and Guides will help you search for answers or at the very least point you in the right direction of where to post at.
ex..
Your card may be having issue but HTC may not be the place to go so a MOD will direct you to the card's manufacture for further help.
Also please follow up with the original post or the "OP" as we call it around here. If (solution a) fixed your issue allow us to know so that others who run into this issue can see the solution that you used. Again be very specific as to what was done to solve your issue.
Ultimately its how you present your post that is going to determine your success.
Also keep in mind that the title can be just as important as the thread. Keep it meaningful
