Root how to get into diag mode on sequent 4.1 for cdma workshop like software

ok i said 4.1 havent tested on other android version
1 press the home screen for 3 scds select shortcuts
then activities then select hidden menu then select port
is going to create a shortcut for diag mode
click the shortcut and select port on and thats it just flashed prl
and im using holo launche hd

youll need root and your msl in order to access the port part of the menu as well as making any changes with qpst

My bad i used that tool myself to get msl and could of sworn i granted it root rights. must of been mistaken. But yea you do need your msl to get into it and make edits

**Edit** Thats also a good way to get your diagnostic drivers installed on your pc without much hassle

yeah thats another way to get it but i like the app better one click one second you have msl

Here is another easy method for getting msl:

From your computer:

adb logcat | grep -P 'sec_code'

If nothing comes up right away, then do ##3282# on your phone, and touch any of the options that come up

note2: the msl is the 6 digit number in your output

edit: looks like terminal emulator method no longer works
