This is probably impossible, but is there a way to have the notification bar clock not appear when on the homescreen, but appear when you open apps?

i dont think so bud, that might be some all new scripting and some figuring out for the devs

If you use GO LAUNCHER you can use swipe gesture assignment to control it on the home screen. That is how I do it.

he wants the clock off of his homescreen, but when in apps that display the notification bar, he wants the clock to show.

Blech, doing this is way beyond my skill level
