how to get old astrid???

hey

you may know that the latest updates of astrid are a bit naff and have removed some features.
Due to this the dev has put a link on the d/l page on the market to get the old version. I typed this is on my laptop and d/l but now i dont know what to do to get it on my phone...

can anybody help me please??

You need to hook up you phone to PC in storage mode and copy the apk file onto your SD card. Then you will need a file browser app on the phone such as "Astro", browse to the correct place on your sd card where you copied it to and it should give you the option to install it when you press the file.

BTW you will need to have ticked "Unknown Sources" in Menu --> Settings --> Applications

Same here. Now when I add a task it doesn't even show in the widget.

only just occurred to me to do the d/l via phone browser, then install via ASTRO...

I'm loving this advice on how to do it, but right now i need WHERE to get it. I need to DL a copy of the old file somewhere. Anyone have any ideas?
