How to get past "Waiting for Device" when rooting?

I had rooted my Atrix, but then reset it back top factory settings after reading a thread on XDA about removing apps and OTA updates. I noticed after the reset, superuser icon is still on my phone. After reading about 'freezing' the apps rather than renaming them, I'm trying to root my Atrix again. However, now I'm stuck at "Waiting for Device". Need help on getting root access again. Thanks

I had this problem and was able to fix it by installing the motorola drivers. I downloaded them from here: http://www.motorola.com/staticfiles/Support/Experiences/Global_Drivers/USB_Drivers_bit_4.8.0.exe

Thanks....I had no problem rooting the 1st time. Is it because I reset my Atrix back to factory, I need to download the drivers again?

Don't know...I had problems the first time I tried to root the phone. I kept getting stuck on the "Waiting for Device." I then noticed some of the drivers weren't installed, so I went to Moto's site and downloaded them and it worked.
