How to get rid of the default web (browser)

I downloaded dolphin and set it as the default browser, but when I click on web on the bottom it still opens the standard web browswer. Any way to change this without rooting?

it goes to the stock browser because that icon only opens that app. To take that icon out of your dock follow this process:
open app drawer
hit settings, select "view type", select customizable grid
this will allow you to drag and drop apps to and from your dock

I hope this helps.

You can't get rid of the stock browser, but I think you're asking the wrong question. Rather than uninstalling the stock browser, did you want to have Dolphin Browser show up at the bottom, on one of the main 4 icons?

If that's the case, go to the App Tray, then Menu, View Type, Customizable Grid, and you can drag the Dolphin Browser app icon to where the stock Web icon is to replace it.

i'm trying to do what both of you suggest, but when I try to drag the dolphin icon to the app tray they disappear and then the "remove" trash can appears

edit: nvm i found out that you just hit edit to change them. Thanks guys
