How to get send/end button to "go home then sleep" with 2.1

Can't seem to get my send/end button to "go home then to sleep". It will only "go to sleep". Is there a way to get the send/end button to "go home then to sleep" with 2.1?:confused:
 
I have not found anything of that sort. My send/end button functions the same way. Naturally that doesn't mean that there isn't a way. I'm just not aware of one.

*Spare Parts* .... Forgot about that.
 
Spare Parts app gives you the option of what your end button does. Home and then sleep is one of the options.

edit: checking it just now it does say that option is only for 1.5 but it is worth checking out, maybe it works for 2.1 as well or will be updated to soon.
 
Or you could, I dunno, hit your home button first and THEN your end button. Same effect. An extra button push and a little bit of mental re-training and you'll soon feel just as satisfied as before.
 
In Spare Parts under the option of "what your end button does" ... click "go to sleep".

I had the same issue and this seem to help.
 
When the first 2.1 leak came out reinstalled spare parts and changed the setting under the menu that says "only for 1.5" and had to do a factory reset in order to regain operation of my end button. Did enjoy that feature in 1.5, glad to hear it may work in OTA.
 
Doesn't work for me after OTA 2.1 update. Had been working fine in 1.5. And I had to set the end button to put my phone to sleep in Spare Parts to get it to work at all after the update. Choosing to disable this or even uninstalling Spare Parts left my phone with no way to put it to sleep manually.
