Root how to get to recovery mode

Moderator note - please read whole thread before trying this.

here is how you get into recovery mode

While phone is off press and hold the volume down+ power button

then touch the back key + home key at the same time repeatedly

you should see an android with a blue loading line under it....plus something in the androids belly lol

I think wat your doing is only for master reset and not recovery, i know we dont have recovery for this device yet.

that is the stock recovery....it does nothing but reset the device....

In some cases the recovery will leave you rooted for a fresh restart, in my case it wipes the phone clean. I've tried it on all three of my motions. (My main and two backups) two get restarted without root, one motion kept its root.

So - maybe not a good idea.
