Help How to install apps & move obb files to external SD card?

I have Samsung Galaxy S duos (Android 4.0.4) I want to install some BIG games ,but my internal SD card is too small and there is no enough space for the LARGE obb files. So, how can I install games to my external SD card such that ALL the game files ,including obb files, are stored in the external SD card?

I tried Folder mount but when I open it ,it just says "checking for root" and doesn't do anything

The games have to be written to run from the card. The default for app writing is that they won't. Open the game in Application manager. If it can be moved to the card there will be a Move to SD card button. That's not a guarantee that the game will run from the card, just that most of it (there's still a link in main storage) can be moved.

As far as the game's files, that depends on the developer again. The game has to be written to use files on the SD card.

The ability of Android to use an SD card wasn't to expand the number of apps you could run on the phone, it was to store pictures, music and video files. All of them can be run from the SD card. If an app can be run from the SD card that's a bonus, not a design goal.

Guys, I found a solution, program called "unlock root" but its downloader stops at a point and freezes :-(

If any of you guys have Unlock root ,please, give me the download link

Rooting only provides you the ability to elevate permission temporarily to administrative levels. If you never use it, there's no security risk. Using root privileges can be benign or potentially damaging depending on what you are attempting to do. The more you mess with the system areas, the more chance there is to break something. That's one of the reasons why most root methods include installing a custom recovery like CWM or TWRP that can make a nandroid backup. A nandroid is simply a complete volume image of your phone at that point in time, so if you mess something up, you can restore the nandroid and your phone will be right back to where it was at the time of backup.

Depending on the root method, you may end up resetting your phone, so make sure you understand exactly what's going to happen and backup all your important data ... twice. The last thing anybody wants is an "oh-sh**" moment when they realized AFTER they pressed the "OK" button that the files they wanted just went bye-bye.

Most manufacturers don't list rooting specifically, but they all pretty much say that modification of the firmware will void your warranty. That said, if you have a warranty issue that's based on a hardware failure, which most warranty claims will be, then most manufacturers honor them.

OK ,guys! I rooted my device. What should I do then? :)
Btw I don't want to install apps on internal memory
Then move them to sd card ,but to install theme
On sd card directly

I hope someone else can get you going because I don't know how you'd go about installing such a big game to your phone.

Guys, I just saw people playing Gangstar Vegas on S Duos ,so WHY CAN'T I?!

Of course, there must be a way

Just want a method for this PARTICULAR game

i have samsung galaxy s duos 2 but i not play games with sd data in sd card. plz solve my problem.games not play in memory card or phone storage like gta vice city, gangster vegas, virtual tennis, nfs most wanted etc.

Hey if u want to play big games on s duos but before that I need to tell that the game will lag a lot but if then also u want to play then Root ur phone then create folder on external sdcard Name "obb" then place ur obb data into that folder and install the app then go to play store and download the app called "GL to SD" and after installing start the app and u will see the game which data is in obb folder on external sdcard then click on play.

This is the way u can play Big android games on s duos

just use GL to SD app. you need to be rooted. basically it just transfers the obb into your removable external sd card (not the digital partition). from then it will need to be mounted whenever you need to play your game. hope it helps.

Rukbat is right. That is not the purpose to create an application with the expansion option for the programs to the SD card. They could possibly create an android device with an integrated extremely large memory card but then people would only pay once for the phone and that's it. Memory cards are a massive bussiness on the mobile telecom industry.
